Common questions

Do I need a monthly subscription?
No. WageNexus supports one-time compliance reviews and individual posting checks for companies that want clarity without an ongoing commitment. The monitoring subscription is for companies that want scheduled law monitoring and monthly briefs. Contact us and we will tell you honestly which fits your situation.
What states do you cover?
We track the state pay-transparency posting laws in force or enacted, and New York City’s. Other city ordinances (currently Cleveland and Columbus) are listed as under review until they are added to our checks. Laws requiring pay in job postings are in force in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and DC, plus New York City. Nevada and Rhode Island require pay information on request rather than in the posting. Delaware’s posting law starts on September 26, 2027. We add a law to our registry when it is enacted, and check the official sources for every tracked law every month.
How do you keep the law data accurate?
Every law we track is built from the official statute or agency text and stored with its citation, effective dates and the date we retrieved it. Each record is cross-checked against those primary sources, and we log every check. Where a point is unsettled and your posting would not meet it, we don’t guess: the finding says needs review and tells you why.
How is this different from legal counsel?
WageNexus provides compliance intelligence — structured information about what laws exist, what they require, and how they may apply to your company. We do not provide legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship. WageNexus helps you stay informed, so you bring in an attorney only when a question needs legal judgment.
What if nothing changes this month?
You still receive a brief. It says, with the date and the sources of our check, that we found no change affecting you. That dated record is itself useful: it shows the laws were checked for you that month.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans with no minimum commitment. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. No annual contracts.
How do I pay?
We invoice monthly by email. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice. Invoices are issued by TecAspire LLC, a Wyoming registered US company.
Who is behind WageNexus?
WageNexus is a service of TecAspire LLC, a Wyoming-registered US company. Every result is reviewed before it reaches you. We are not a law firm, and nothing we send is legal advice.
Is this legal advice?
No. WageNexus provides compliance intelligence, not legal advice. All briefs and communications include this disclaimer clearly. For legal counsel, engage a qualified employment attorney in your jurisdiction.
